Headquartered in the optics and photographic capital of the world, HSE’s lineage is intertwined with countless companies that resulted from breakthroughs in these revolutionary areas of science. For example, in 1926, the firm helped Eastman Kodak Company obtain a U.S. patent for the photographic shutter.
