Typically, we are responsible for the preparation and negotiation of complex real estate acquisition agreements and we are experienced in dealing with issues frequently encountered in such agreements, including environmental representations and warranties, indemnities and zoning matters.
We provide sophisticated representation of national Fortune 100 companies in managing, negotiating and assisting in administering extensive lease portfolios of multi-tenant commercial facilities in areas throughout the country. Our attorneys are regularly involved in the preparation and negotiation of sophisticated commercial leases and handling, through litigation if necessary, disputes arising under such leases.
In addition to working with developers, we also advise lenders and individuals about rights and obligations in financing such developments. In addition, a wide variety of leasing services are available to both landlords and tenants.
Residential Services. Our attorneys and professional staff work closely with buyers and sellers to determine individual needs and goals, and to ensure that the sale or purchase of a home is a rewarding personal venture. Additionally, the Group’s attorneys are regarded as regional leaders in skilled client representation for single-family home transactions, as well as townhouse and condominium homeowner associations.
Lender Representation. Through the years, our attorneys have provided counseling and service for many institutional lenders, including banks, mortgage brokers and bankers, insurance companies, and other institutions throughout the country. In doing so, we have met the challenge of an ever increasing and constantly changing level of state and federal regulations, which have made an ordinary loan closing all but extinct.
We have been able to offer the “lender’s viewpoint” in structuring financing transactions for clients, and have frequently been able to open the door for clients seeking project financing.
