Professional Experience

Wende is an Associate in the Labor and Employment practice group focusing on a broad range of labor and employment law matters involving both litigation and counseling. More specifically, she advises and assists employers on establishing policies and practices, as well as issues surrounding employee hiring, discipline and termination, and leave issues related to FMLA, ADA, USERRA and Workers’ Compensation. Wende also represents clients with all matters involving state and federal employment claims including, but not limited to, discrimination, wage and hour violations, EEOC and Human Rights investigations, and restrictive covenants.

Prior to law school, Wende spent a decade at Xerox Corp. leading various of the company’s international public relations teams in Toronto, London, and Developing Markets to include Eastern Europe, the Middle East & Africa, India, Russia, and Central and South America.
