This position can be in the firm’s Buffalo or Rochester office.
  • Labor and Employment Attorney: Harter Secrest & Emery LLP is seeking an attorney with labor & employment law experience to join the firm’s Rochester office as an associate or counsel. Candidate must have experience counseling management side clients. Enthusiasm and initiative are essential, as are exceptional analytical and writing skills. Employment litigation or other litigation experience a plus.
  • Employee Benefits Attorney: Harter Secrest & Emery LLP is seeking an Employee Benefits attorney with 3-5 years’ experience to associate with the firm’s Rochester or Buffalo office. Enthusiasm for client service and initiative are essential. Strong academic background required. 
  • Corporate Attorney

    Harter Secrest & Emery LLP is seeking a corporate attorney with at least 3-5 years of significant transactional experience for the firm’s Rochester office. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in mergers and acquisitions. Candidates must have excellent drafting and negotiation skills and a strong academic background.

  • Intellectual Property Attorney: Harter Secrest & Emery LLP is looking for a trademark attorney for its Rochester office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing U.S. and foreign trademark portfolios (i.e., registration, clearance, and counseling), as well as experience with opposition and cancellation actions before the TTAB of the USPTO. A proven litigation record and exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
  • Public Finance Attorney

    Harter Secrest & Emery LLP seeks an attorney with significant public finance experience (either as a bond lawyer or as a Section 103 tax lawyer). Enthusiasm for client service and initiative are essential. Strong academic background required.
