Harter Secrest & Emery LLP and The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce invite all business owners and investors to join us on January 30 to learn how you can leverage business opportunities through opportunity fund investments.

Created by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the Opportunity Zones program offers tax incentives for investment in certain designated low-income communities and businesses located therein.  Taxpayers who invest in Opportunity Zone businesses can significantly defer, reduce or eliminate capital gains tax liability.  This discussion will focus specifically on how Investors and businesses can capitalize on the Opportunity Zone provisions in growing or investing in businesses.
