Description
Cyber security isn't just an IT issue - it's an enterprise-wide issue, and Human Resources plays a key role in addressing cyber security concerns.  This presentation focuses on the cyber risk issues specific to the Human Resources function and outlines HR's key role in education, compliance, and communication in relation to cyber security.  The goal of the presentation is to provide participants with a better understanding of the cyber threat landscape as well as concrete strategies to better address cyber security issues.

From this program, participants will:

1. Better understand the cyber-risk landscape as it relates to the Human Resources function.

2. Obtain strategies for strengthening cyber security focus through Human Resources.

3. Understand the cyber-risk related obligations an organization has in relation to its employees' data. 

This program is pending approval for 1.5 HR credit hours.
