Established in 1970 at 713 Monroe Avenue, Flower City Arts Center (formerly known as Genesee Center for Arts and Education) is the only community ceramics and visual arts center in the city of Rochester, and is committed to continuing its 40-year history of making hands-on art experiences accessible for all people. The Center includes darkroom and photography facilities, a complete ceramics workshop, and a printing and book arts center. Over the years, the Center has developed programs that connect young people to the community and introduce the community to the creativity of our youth, through a variety of educational and cultural programs. The Center uses its resources to provide youth programs in schools, offers over 200 classes to the general public, and rents space to artists and others interested in the visual arts. Three galleries in the building serve as exhibit space for local, regional and national artists.  The Center’s unique programs and facility gather students from different city neighborhoods, and suburban/rural areas of Rochester and Monroe County.

As a health care attorney, Lanzafame counsels long-term and acute health care providers with regard to business, corporate and government regulatory matters, and represents clients before a variety of governmental agencies, bodies, boards and commissions. His practice is focused on reimbursement issues and regulatory compliance.
