Samantha is a commercial and intellectual property litigator with superior communication skills and valuable experience as an insider in the New York appellate court system.

She represents individuals, municipalities, and companies of all sizes on a wide range of state and federal litigation matters, including appeals and internal investigations. Her experience includes conducting extensive legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs in all phases of litigation.

Before joining Harter Secrest & Emery, Samantha gained valuable insights as a Senior Court Attorney at the New York Court of Appeals. In that role, she recommended to the judges of the Court whether to grant or deny civil motions for leave to appeal, and she drafted decisions for appeals placed on the Court’s sua sponte merits track.
In addition, Samantha has worked in the Major Felony Bureau of the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, for the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
