

Mike is an associate in the privacy and data security group where he counsels clients on best practices for maintaining compliance with federal and state cybersecurity regulations, including breach preparation, privacy notices and practices, and the security of information systems. He provides support to the HSE “breach coach” team and counsels clients on privacy and data security concerns in relation to complex corporate transactions.
In addition, as a member of the firm’s litigation practice group, Mike advises clients on litigation matters in both state and federal court.
Before joining HSE, Mike gained valuable litigation experience as an attorney in the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department. In that role, he prepared preliminary reports for appeals pending before the Court, conducted extensive research on various topics of New York law, drafted memorandum decisions, and recommended dispositions to the Court.
