

With over ten years of experience in real estate law, Sarah thoughtfully assesses client goals and efficiently moves matters forward to achieve a positive result. She spends time getting to know as much about a clients’ business as possible to help identify issues and provide strategies for success. Sarah focuses on assisting owners, landlords, tenants, investors, buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, and real estate investment trusts (REITs) with various types of commercial real estate matters.
Commercial Acquisitions and Divestitures
Sarah regularly performs due diligence review, drafts and negotiates commercial real estate purchase and sale agreements, mortgage loan documents, easement and development agreements, and other agreements relating to real property transactions for a wide range of buyers and sellers in the acquisition, divestiture, financing, zoning, and municipal approval of land-use ventures. She reviews, analyzes, and resolves complex title and survey matters and assists clients in obtaining land use approvals and approvals required under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), and various state and federal agencies. In addition, Sarah has significant experience assisting REITs with various real estate transactions throughout the United States.
Commercial Leasing
Sarah represents both landlords and tenants in various types of lease transactions for office, industrial, and retail space, including the drafting and negotiating of ground leases, building leases and sublease agreements, and she regularly counsels her clients on a variety of lease-related matters.
